4. Remove the screws to reveal the light bulbs


As you can see the burnt out one is the one on top which is slightly blackened. If you are not sure, confirm by using your key’s lock/unlock button. You can also pull out the working one and swap it with the burnt out one to see if your problem is related to the bulb.
5. Replace the burnt out bulb

The bulb that burnt out was a GE 1057 P21W. However if you try to search for this, you will notice the part number has changed. So I purchased the equivalent Sylvania 7506 LL instead (It should say Osram 12V P21W on the base of the bulb).

Make sure to not touch the bulb with your hands when replacing the bulb as it can shorten it’s life span.
6. Test the light with your key’s lock and unlock button
7. Reassemble the unit, screw it back and you’re done!
That’s it! Check your dash to see if the warning message is now gone.
